Dr. Soderstrom trained at Mayo Clinic and has been active over the decades in the Mayo alumni association and various Mayo alumni committees. One of Dr. Soderstrom’s life long philanthropic efforts has been to support Mayo Clinic and its missions. A gathering of Mayo clinic supporters was held at the Soderstrom Castle.
