Mrs. Gebbink hosted an elegant piano recital for her 30 students. The students performed on the Castle’s Steinway. Not only does she teach piano, but she teaches life lessons too – timeliness, professional dress, demeanor, manners, and politeness. Everyone enjoyed ice cream and cake in celebration. Alex Soderstrom, Dr. Soderstrom’s grandson, played three songs and represented a very proud mother, father, and family.
Each year, the Soderstrom Castle celebrates Halloween, welcoming children and adults alike for a night of fun.
After the Miss Illinois Scholarship Pageant, the Queen, her court, and local queens receive a photography day.
The Gentlemen’s Cigar Society of Central Illinois met at the Castle for an evening of fun.
